Old/Expired Medication Dropoff Sites
Old prescriptions left unsecured in the home can often be an easy source for someone thinking about unsafely using prescription medications and can pose danger to pets or children who may accidentally ingest them. They can also be confusing for elderly people who may have multiple prescriptions. A list of the closest sites is under District Documents. We do NOT have a drop site at the Firehouse.
CPR Classes
We are American Heart Association (AHA) Instructors. We can host CPR classes for lay-person (public) or professional rescuers. Contact Kevin Matys at KMatys @LeydenFire.com for available times and dates.
Child safety seat installation

Interested in becoming a firefighter or paramedic?
Fire Chief Brenda Farlow is happy to help answer questions about how to earn the title of firefighter and get the "Best JOB in the WORLD". Chief Farlow is a graduate of Triton College and is pursuing a PhD. She is also a practicing paramedic and holds numerous firefighter certificates.
